We continue the history of the farm by growing tangelos, in-season November thru January. At that time we will also have ruby red grapefruit, navel oranges, calamondin limes and lemons.
Our trees are grafted from professional nurseries but the vegetables we offer are from local vendors who grow and cultivate mostly from seed.
Thanks to a partnership with Josen's Funny Farm in Paisley, we offer farm-fresh eggs from a variety of chicken and ducks. In the next few months we anticipate her Quail will, too, be producing the tiny eggs we all adore!
Most of our fruit trees are less than 4 years old yet they are already producing plums, nectarines, figs, pomegranate, calamondin limes, peaches and, of course, avocados.
We preserve as much as we have time for and we have at least one vendor who's also putting her delicious canned goods on our stand. Be sure to ask about our locally made Kombucha tea, too!
Steps away from a honeybee farm, we are grateful for the cross-pollination they provide as well as the occasional overnight "stay" on one of our trees.
